Passports are mailed out weekly via USPS.
As a part of the Italian Food Trail, there's also a Passport Program highlighting 15 food sites along the trail. Passports are free of charge and are available at the 15 participating food sites, along with the Trumbull County Tourism Office or via online requests while supplies last.
When Passport participants make a qualifying purchase of either an appetizer, entree, or dessert at any named site in the passport, their Passport will receive a stamp from the site. Those who visit all 15 sites and receive stamps can submit their completed passport back to the Trumbull County Tourism Office by November 30, 2019 to have 15 chances to win one of the $50.00 gift certificates from participating sites. Drawings for the gift certificates will be held on December 12, 2019.
As an additional incentive, the first 100 people to collect eight stamps and return their passport to the office by November 30, 2019 will receive an Italian Food Trail baseball cap. Detailed instructions are included in the passport.
